About Alón Labs
Alón Labs is a physician-founded skincare company whose formulas are designed to correct abnormal pigment while respecting and preserving normal pigment. Its hero product, CODE3, is a patent-pending, non-bleaching cosmetic serum — an alternative to hydroquinone and other bleaching-style agents — developed by board-certified plastic surgeon Dr. Daniel Jacobs and refined over 12 years across three formula generations. CODE3 is formulated with 10% topical tranexamic acid, one of the highest concentrations available, alongside bakuchiol and quercetin: three ingredients chosen to address three drivers of uneven-looking tone — plasmin-related signaling, inflammation, and oxidative stress — with supporting actives including niacinamide and hyaluronic acid.

About the founder
Dr. Daniel Jacobs is a board-certified plastic surgeon and founder of Alón Labs, a clinical skincare company focused on abnormal pigment care and ingredient transparency. CODE3, the company's hero product, began as a formula Dr. Jacobs developed for his wife's melasma and evolved over 12 years through three formula generations. The current patent-pending formula combines 10% tranexamic acid, bakuchiol, quercetin, and a foundation of supporting actives including niacinamide and hyaluronic acid. CODE3 is built on a simple idea: correct abnormal pigment, preserve normal pigment. Melanin is healthy, protective skin biology — the problem is the abnormal signaling that pushes skin toward dark patches and uneven tone. Rather than broadly suppressing melanin the way bleaching-style agents do, CODE3 is designed to address those upstream signals: a non-bleaching option for people who want a more even-looking tone without trading away their natural color.
